Photos of Oscar – Troost-Ekong’s new baby boy

Super Eagles’ defender, William Troost-Ekong posted photos of his newly born baby boy Oscar whom he had on Tuesday 24th July, 2018 with his partner of five years.
The 30-year old had revealed he was expecting a baby during the Nigeria vs Congo pre-World Cup international friendly in Port Harcourt back in May.
He scored his first-ever goal for the Nigerian national side during that game and celebrated with his thumb in his mouth and the ball inside his jersey – depicting a baby and a pregnant mum respectively. Then he dedicated the goal to the unborn child the following day.
Ekong, born in Netherland into a mixed Dutch and Nigerian family, was with the Super Eagles at the just-concluded global showpiece in Russia and was very helpful in the team’s defence despite their crashing out in the group stages.
The Bursaspor of Turkey star on Wednesday took to his social media handles to share photos of his son and of him cuddling the son.
Ekong, who played for Netherland youth team before choosing to play for his home country, had earlier said he is proud to have represented Nigeria at the World Cup.
